What Makes Us Different?
Like most small businesses, we have had our ups and downs, even doubts, but never quit. What started out as a hobby [in 2017] doing leather work, quickly turned into tiny business with others asking about wallets, belts, and other small leather goods.
Manny, the owner, grew up on a horse ranch, with the desire to learn the art of saddle or boot making. Being that there were more people than horses around, He chose to venture into the art of custom boot making.
This led Manny into the world of boot and shoe repair to learn the basics. Manny also opened up a store front location in 2019 specializing in boot and shoe repair. Everything was going as expected and the business continued to grow until the pandemic forced many small businesses to close. By march of 2020 we had lost about 95% of our business and were forced to rethink our business strategy being that we didn't qualify for any government assistance.
The family took a step back and began reworking the the plan to stay afloat
during the pandemic and continue to support our family. This meant taking on other jobs to make ends meet and continue to support the families that kept our small business going.
After selling the vehicles and regrouping, we realized we had to take our business online in order to attract others who yet didn't know us. This led us to taking much of what we know to social media platforms. YouTube and other sites have been a huge blessing for us in sending new business our way. You can find Manny on youtube at @MannyTheBootmaker Please subscribe if you haven't already.
By supporting us, you support a small family business. Manny, is the one that responds to many if not all of the emails and phone call that come into the shop. Our family appreciates the support.
