Channeled Leather Insole
Having a good leather insole gives your feet much needed support. Leather Footbeds will form to your feet overtime, making them more comfortable compared to any other insert you can buy. With Manny's Boots, the leather footbeds are hand channeled and stitched directly to the uppers. This is considered a "Goodyear welt" construction, which is considered a superior construction in footwear.
Shank (Main Arch Support)
While companies that mass produce boots focus on quantity over quality, Here at Manny's Custom Boots, we focus on making boots the right way. We are still using 50 penny nails as shanks, which have been used since the late 1800's. The nails allow the shank to flex in the arch with the movement of the boots, instead of cracking, providing optimal support.
Perfecting The Fit
Getting a pair of Manny's Custom Boots, means having boots that are made to your feet. At Manny's we take approximately 14 different measurements to insure the boots fit your feet and support your feet in the correct areas. We take the measurements and carefully build your own specific last that can be reused time and time again.
Hand Lasted
At Manny's Custom Boots, we hand last all of our boots to insure they are balanced and the leather is as tight as possible on the last. This will insure fit and comfort. When we say hand made, we truly mean HAND-MADE.
